The Beehouse Recording Rates
Our weekday recording rates are from £28 per hour plus VAT, although this goes down to £25 plus VAT for projects of more than 2 days(12 hrs). This price includes the assistance of a skilled and experienced engineer/producer. There
is a surcharge for weekend work. This rate includes music production,
some instrumentation, and arrangement, and the assistance of at least
one highly skilled recording engineer/producer.

Music Production/Arrangement
Our main studio, the Beehouse, offers to produce and arrange your original
musical ideas. Here, skilled staff will take you through the subtle
process of interpretation and development of your ideas, however evolved
or embryonic. recording with a recording engineer/producer is £28
plus VAT per hour on weekdays going doen to £25 plus VAT for more than 12 hours' work. Weekends carry a surcharge. Check our

Design Artwork
Design artwork is carried out at a rate of £28 plus VAT per hour. This does not include downloading your files into our templates and general tidying, but it does include any original work we carry out, or original images we produce for you. It also includes any reconstitution or re-scanning of your artwork if it is not sent in a suitable or compatible format.

Mastering and Sound Restoration Rates
Mastering
is carried out at £28 per hour plus VAT. A good rule of thumb
is that an EP may generally cost around £112 plus VAT to master
to Red Book standard, whereas an album can usually be mastered for around
£280 plus VAT. During this process the master will be produced,
the customer will have an opportunity to listen and comment, and the final
master will be cut with the customer's comments taken into consideration.
Customers are also welcome to attend mastering sessions if they wish,
to make the process more efficient.
